Hi Kathy,

On June 20, CMA will be hosting a Summer Solstice Party to unveil the new East Wing of the museum. The party will be indoors and on the lawn, so CMA is installing a temporary sculpture, Wood-Pile, comprised of 18,270 recyclable pool noodles designed by 2006 Cleveland Institute of Art graduate Mark Reigelman.

To build excitement about the sculpture and encourage attendance at the Summer Solstice Party, CMA has started a daily Noodle Vision contest. Starting today until June 20, CMA will post one image of a photo taken of Cleveland art using a noodle “lens.” Readers can share their guess of the location via blog comments, and CMA will randomly select one commenter (right answer or not) to win tickets to the Summer Solstice Party on June 20. Winners will be announced the following day when the location is revealed and a new image is posted. Everyone who comments on any of the photos will be entered into a June 20 drawing to win a free individual membership to CMA for 12 months.

Thanks!
